What is eSports?
eSports is IHSA regulated competitive video gaming! Schools from all over Illinois compete against each other.
Most commonly, esports takes the form of organized, multiplayer online video game competitions. These competitions often incorporate live broadcasts with commentary and award prize money to competitors. Esports is also one of the fastest growing sports in the world.
How does CHS eSports work?
IHSA Sectionals and State competitions are in person at the sites that are determined by IHSA. in 2023, the sectional tournament was in Salem, Illinois and the state competition was in Chicago.

Regular season tournaments are mostly held remotely from CHS. Logging onto the consoles from CHS, the team meets for competition online.

Teammates work together to win.
